We offer three spacious comfortable guest rooms with original fire places, all decorated to a high standard. Each with its own dedicated parking space for use during your stay.
All our rooms have large comfortable beds, fully stocked tea and coffee making facilities, with bottled water, replenished daily. Hairdryers, flat screen televisions, wifi and built in USB sockets for charging your devices.
We love Whitby with its historic abbey and links to Dracula, connections to Captain Cook, quirky streets and artisan shops, beaches and famous fish and chips.
Our festivals are many and varied! We welcome, Goths, Folk Dancers, Soul music, Steam weekend and many more. All on our doorstep.
Further afield you may want to travel on the steam train, or drive to Sandsend, Robin hoods Bay, Goathland (Aidensfield) or Thornton le Dale (Bangers and Cash!). Without the worry of parking on your return.

WHO ARE WE?
We have had the pleasure of living in Whitby since 2005 and we are beginning a new chapter by opening Coast Guest House.
We are a newly renovated, stylish guest house situated 750 yards from Whitby Railway Station and approx. 1 mile from Whitby Abbey. We are a 8 to 10 minute walk down into the town. Close to the cinder track which takes you on a pleasant walk into Robin Hoods Bay. We are on the main road into Whitby before the traffic lights.

Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit
Thank you for choosing to book with us. By placing a booking, you and your guests agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
A £100 per room non refundable deposit is payable to confirm your booking.
The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third-party visitors are only allowed access with guest within seven days of any request to do so.
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance/nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.
Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, you will be charged for the full length of your stay. Please ensure you have travel insurance.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.
WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Guests should use the Internet fairly and appropriately. The internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video, music, media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads/uploads.
Damages & Lost Property
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of the booking by any member of the booking party.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for children under the age of 16.
Smoking
Strictly no smoking throughout the house.
Pets & Service Dogs
We do not accept pets, except for service dogs.
Parking
There is a parking space for each room. Vehicles are left at owners’ risk.

Fabulous Breakfasts
Our guest breakfast room provides a pleasant place to eat a hearty cooked breakfast, using locally sourced produce, or lighter choices such as fruit, cereals and yoghurt. All washed down with Yorkshire teas and coffee or fruit juices. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9am daily. Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.
